Job summary

M&P O’Sullivan Ltd in Cork is recruiting a Multi Drop Delivery Assistant / Warehouse Operative to support drivers and the warehouse team. The role focuses on safe loading, timely deliveries, accurate records, and excellent customer service during daily routes.

The position offers an immediate start, about 40 hours per week, a Monday–Friday roster, and weekly pay. On-site parking and progression opportunities are provided in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Deliver goods to multiple customer locations on time.
• Verify delivery addresses and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
• Check goods for accuracy and report any shortages or damages.
• Handle parcels or products with care to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records using delivery apps or paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delays, traffic, or delivery issues.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Collect payments where required and issue receipts.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, fuelled, and report any maintenance issues.
• Return undelivered items and complete end-of-day documentation.
• Assist in sorting, packing, and preparing orders before departure.
• Meet daily delivery targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

We are delighted to be expanding in our Cork Depot and are looking for a Multi Drop Delivery Assistant / Warehouse Operative.

The role of a Multi Drop Delivery Assistant / Warehouse Operative will consist of ensuring assistance to drivers to deliver goods and all customers are serviced to the highest standard, also assisting the Warehouse team.
