Job summary

Company Details Confidential in Ireland is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to support everyday shop operations and deliver friendly, professional service. You will join a small, welcoming team and assist with deli counter duties, stock replenishment and front-of-house support to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Full training will be provided; a flexible shift pattern including weekends is expected. Prior deli or food service experience is advantageous but not essential, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Essential: 1 year minimum experience
• Essential: No formal qualification required
• Desirable: Customer Service and Sales/Marketing skills
• Desirable: Teamwork, Time Management and Initiative

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for every customer
• Operate the checkout and handle cash/card payments accurately
• Serve customers at the deli counter and prepare food to a high standard
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are well presented
• Check stock levels and assist with deliveries
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation
• Prepare and display fresh food and deli products
• Assist with opening and/or closing duties
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Follow food safety, health and safety and company procedures
• Carry out other reasonable duties to support shop operations
