Job summary

The Spotted Dog in Dundalk is seeking a deli cook to work alongside the head chef in both the restaurant and the adjacent pantrí deli. You will prep and serve hot and cold deli foods, fill catering orders, ensure portion control, and maintain food safety standards.

Experience in baking or barista work is a plus, and cash handling is required. The role is primarily daytime with occasional weekend evenings; pay ranges from €14.15 to €15.00 per hour, with 15–20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Baking and Barista experience is an advantage.
• Cooking experience (2+ years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fills catering orders and ensures portion control.
• Ensures food handling and food safety procedures are adhered to.
• Orders food stocks, rotates, and monitors product temperatures before and after cooking.
