Job summary

Centra Drogheda on Plattin Rd is looking for a Flexi Deli Assistant to prepare high-quality hot and cold deli items and ensure customer satisfaction. The role values teamwork in a fast-paced environment and a passion for food.

Typical shifts are 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm and 3pm-10pm. Pay will be based on experience. Role available immediately; not suited for students.

Qualifications

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and multi-task under pressure.
• A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas; make sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot food and slice meats using portion control.
• Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day.
• Ensure counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards.
• Share knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers.
• Deal with customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.

Main purpose of the role:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary

About the locality:

Flexi Deli Position Available

Typcial Hours would be 10am to 6pm, 12pm to 8pm and 3pm to 10pm

Experience would be an advantage

This role will not suit a student as the shifts above are required
