Job summary

Centra in Ireland is seeking a deli assistant to prepare high-quality hot and cold deli products and ensure customer satisfaction is the number one priority. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, handling sandwiches, hot foods and display duties while sharing knowledge and recommendations with shoppers.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent service, maintaining top display standards, and supporting customers with queries in line with store policy.

Qualifications

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary.
• Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team and multi-task under pressure.
• Passion for food and ability to inspire shoppers.

• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas i.e. make sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot food and slice meats using the store`sportion control measures
• Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day
• Ensure that the counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times throughout the day
• Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.
