Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment is seeking an experienced Day Services Manager for our client in Tralee, Co. Kerry. You will manage a team and work with healthcare providers, patients and families to develop care plans and monitor progress, ensuring clear communication among all parties involved.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with at least two years’ experience, NMBI live registration for 3 years, and a strong grasp of quality and safety systems. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.
• Nursing qualification and live registration on NMBI for 3 years (RGN desirable)

Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for an experienced Day Services Manager for one of our clients based in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

You’ll manage a team and collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and families to develop comprehensive care plans, monitor progress, and facilitate communication among all parties involved. They are responsible for mentoring and supporting team members, facilitating communication between staff and management, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant healthcare setting.
• A Day Services Manager must have a nursing qualification and be registered for 3 years (RGN desirable, other disciplines with relevant experience will be considered) on the live register of NMBI.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Have a good knowledge of Quality and Safety Systems and Audit
• Ability to Liaise with health care professionals/ statutory personnel/ others throughout the community,
• Computer literacy/administration.
• Experience of staff management.
• Ability to maintain quality standards and ensure health and safety compliance.
