Job summary

Corlann in County Galway invites applications for one temporary full-time Instructor/Supervisor for REA services based in Loughrea. The role develops day service provision and implements educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development programmes for adults with an intellectual disability, including evening activities and community one-to-one supports.

Candidates should hold a Level 6 qualification in health, have at least 1 year in ID services, possess a full clean Irish

Qualifications

Must hold a Level 6 qualification in health sector.
Minimum 1 year experience in ID services.
Experience in day services, designing and implementing programmes for adults with intellectual disability.
Full clean Irish Driver's Licence is essential.
Fluency in verbal and written English; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Develop day service provision in Loughrea, Co. Galway.
Implement educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development programmes for adults with ID.
Provide family support, coordinate social groups and evening activities, and offer one-to-one community supports as required.
Act as a key worker to form links and partnerships with community groups.
Work with adults with Autism, complex needs and physical disabilities to support personal care, meals and welfare.
