Trinity College Dublin is seeking an Early Years Educator to join our Day Nursery team in Dublin. The role is part-time, requiring three full days per week (8:30am-4:00pm and 9:30am-5:00pm on alternating weeks). The appointment will align with the Fortnightly Day Nursery Assistant salary scale (pro rata).

Post Summary-

To work as part of team of Early Years Educators, promoting high quality care and education for children aged 3 months up to 4.5 years old, in line with current childcare regulations and best practice. To foster strong social and life skills in children and to support the children in becoming active leaners. To work with all stakeholders, ensuring that the needs and emerging interests of the children are core in all actions carried out with and for the children. To work closely with the parent’s group in a confidential and respectful manner. To act as advocates for the children in the Day Nursery and liaise with other professionals in the best interest of the child.

Salary:

This appointment force be made on the Fortnightly Day Nursery Assistant merged salary scale(Pro Rata Salary Based on Contracted Hours)at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
