Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a DataBricks Expert to lead technical ownership of critical banking products and AWS cloud infrastructure. You will mentor developers and coordinate with Business Analysis, QA, IT Security, and enterprise architecture to drive delivery from analysis through production.

We expect 7+ years of enterprise SDLC experience, strong AWS and Terraform skills, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise SDLC experience.
• 3+ years in financial services; 1+ years in banking.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, IAM).
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency with React (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Commitment to clean code, security best practices, and maintainable infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently on complex, long-duration tasks with limited direction.
• Good communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

About The Role

Citco IT is a global team of IT professionals that is responsible for the development and support of IT applications throughout Citco Group’s divisions. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Developer to work within a very exciting and challenging role on a new strategic financial application. The successful candidate will be working with a specialized technical teams serving a wide range of buines groups. We are seeking a Technical Specialist focusing on AWS Coud development to take technical ownership of significant products and modules within our Banking platform. You will define technical direction and architecture, mentor developers, and liaise with Business Analysis, Application Support, QA, IT Security, and enterprise architecture to ensure delivery from analysis through production and support.

Job Duties In Brief

• Technical ownership of critical banking product(s) and module(s) across DataBricks Platform
• Technical ownership of critical banking product(s) and module(s) across AWS cloud infrastructure
• Deliver data led solution using Machine Learning and AI tools
• Maintain systems documentation and knowledge base
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews
• Define architecture requirements considering throughput, latency, and reliability
• Drive CI/CD practices for cloud and on-premise deployments
• Champion clean code principles, integrated testing practices, and effective use of AI-assisted coding tools
• Champion and leverage AI-assisted coding tools effectively in day-to-day development

About You

Required IT skills
