Marsh is seeking a senior data engineering leader to own the technical delivery for priority initiatives in the Innovation & Data Office. You will lead a pod of engineers, write code, design architectures, and ensure high-quality data products land with business impact.

You will collaborate with Engagement Leads and business stakeholders, scale pipelines, and raise the engineering bar through standardized practices and governance across the team.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with mentoring
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks preferred; Snowflake/Synapse allowed) on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Proven ability to lead a mixed team of employees and contractors
• Fluency with modern engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, testing, infrastructure-as-code, DataOps
• Clear communication with business leaders and engineers

Responsabilidades

• Lead a delivery squad of 4-8 data engineers and set technical direction
• Build and debug data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Spark
• Design data models, medallion architectures, ingestion contracts and reusable patterns
• Engage with Engagement Leads and business stakeholders to translate problems into data solutions
• Drive engineering standards including CI/CD, testing, documentation and operations
• Operate on a modern stack: Databricks on AWS/Azure, infrastructure-as-code, Git-based workflows
