Job Summary

Senior Manager – Data Strategy & Transformation PwC Ireland offers the opportunity to lead engagements within our Data, Analytics & AI Consulting team, delivering multi‑year transformation programmes and shaping future services for global brands.

Role & Responsibilities

• Engage with senior client leadership to deliver multi‑year transformation programmes and set the data strategy agenda.
• Act as a technical SME, developing solutions and strategies to solve complex data challenges.
• Provide deep technical knowledge and guide junior team members to ensure compliance with data transformation best practices.
• Identify innovative solutions using leading data analytics technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, cloud data solutions, data collaboration).
• Lead the creation, maintenance and implementation of strategic roadmaps, principles, standards and reference architectures within the data sphere.
• Collaborate with IT executives to define, document and iterate data strategy and desired capabilities aligned with business strategy.
• Respond to client proposals, identify new/existing business opportunities, and develop market awareness of PwC’s technology brand.
• Lead, train, coach, and supervise a small team of technical resources and manage the financial aspects of engagements.
• Establish strong relationships with senior business, technology and change management stakeholders as a trusted data advisor.
• Communicate practical implications of architectural decisions to executive, business, technical delivery and IT management stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering complex projects in a consulting or professional services environment.
• 3+ years experience designing and implementing data transformations.
• Minimum 8 years experience in solution design and technical delivery, with at least 1 year managing data transformation implementations.
• BA/BS degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with data architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Adaptable and flexible, thriving in dynamic, highly changeable environments.
• Experience leading and inspiring teams of technical consultants across onshore, nearshore and offshore locations.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and managing day‑to‑day team activities.
• Knowledge of key data trends (AI, machine learning, cloud data solutions, data collaboration, data democratisation).
