Job summary

UBotica Technologies in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Data Scientist to generate insights from large spatial-temporal maritime datasets (AIS, satellite imagery) for its Maritime Situational Awareness platform.

The role involves building and deploying ML models, presenting findings via dashboards and reports, and collaborating with AI engineers, analysts and software teams, reporting to the CTO. 3+ years of commercial analytics experience required.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, GIS or similar
• EU passport holder
• minimum 3 years commercial data science on large complex datasets
• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
• familiarity with Google Cloud or similar and geospatial tools (GeoPandas, PostGIS, QGIS)
• strong communication skills
