Job summary

Zurich Life Assurance plc in Dublin is seeking a Data Scientist in the Data Analytics department to apply coding, statistical modelling and machine learning to insurance and operational challenges. Primary location is Blackrock with occasional travel.

You will build analytical models, data pipelines, dashboards and reports, and develop AI agents and tools to improve quality and efficiency across departments. Flexibility for part-time or full-time is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field (Data Science, CS, Math, Stats, Engineering, Economics, Finance)
• Coding skills in Python with clean, reusable code
• Experience or interest in statistical modelling or ML techniques (GLMs, tree-based methods, time series, clustering)
• Experience with data-visualization tools, preferably Tableau
• Experience with AI tools, preferably MS Copilot Studio

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical solutions and models to support departments
• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, datasets, and codebases for MI, dashboards, and advanced analytics
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports
• Create solutions that make data easily accessible for users
• Develop and maintain AI agents and tools to improve quality and efficiency
