Job summary

The Recruitment Company in Dublin is seeking an experienced Data Science leader to head a team and shape strategic AI initiatives. This Dublin-based, hybrid role is a permanent position and offers the chance to influence data science and analytics across the organisation.

You'll lead, mentor and scale a team of Data Scientists, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive practical, measurable outcomes by applying ML, Python/R and cloud-based data solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Data Science leadership or management position.
• Strong technical background in Data Science, including Python or R, SQL and machine learning.
• Experience across the Data Science lifecycle: model development, deployment and monitoring.
• Good understanding of MLOps and production ML solutions.
• Experience applying AI/ML to real-world business challenges.
• Experience with cloud-based data and analytics technologies.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Degree or master's qualification in Computer Science, Data Science.

We're working with a well-established organisation that is continuing to invest in its data and AI capabilities and is looking for an experienced Data Science leader to join the team.

This is a senior role combining people leadership, technical direction and stakeholder engagement. You'll have the opportunity to influence how Data Science and AI are used across the organisation while working closely with teams across technology and the wider business.
