Job summary

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Irish data protection law and guidance from the Data Protection Commissioner.
• Experience advising in a commercial or public sector/regulatory environment with high-level stakeholders.
• Proven track record of influencing effectively in regulated settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Logical, proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advice on data protection and privacy matters.
• Contribute to internal education on data protection and compliance.
• Deliver concise, commercially-focused regulatory guidance to business functions.
• Support IT, procurement and partner management to achieve compliant objectives.
• Represent Tesco Mobile with regulators and public bodies as needed.
• Monitor emerging data privacy legislation and analyze impact to the business.
