Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork is seeking an Intern IT Engineer for the Data Protection Group to start in 2027 for up to 8 months, joining the Cork Technology Centre’s global Infrastructure team.

You will build automation for data protection solutions, work on architecture and reporting, and gain hands-on experience with operations such as break-fix, upgrades and restore requests.

Qualifications

• Current student in university seeking an internship for 6+ months.
• Legally able to work in Ireland and registered as a student.
• Strong communication and eagerness to learn.
• Interest in IT infrastructure and data protection basics.

Responsibilities

• Build automation and tooling for data protection solutions such as Veeam & Cohesity.
• Work on data protection architecture and reporting.
• Gain hands-on experience with operations such as break fix, upgrades and restore requests.
