Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading public sector organisation to hire for the role of Data Migration & Management Specialist for their Dublin office. You will lead data input processing and validation for the new central system and oversee migration from multiple sources into a single consolidated dataset for the AVL system.

The role involves coordinating SDLC activities, testing and QA support, documentation of processes, and collaboration with Contracts and Customer Experience teams

Qualifications

• Hold a NFQ degree level 7 in computing, engineering, information technology, or a relevant technical discipline to data analysis.
• 2-3 years’ experience in data management with SQL databases; MongoDB desirable.
• Ability to prioritise work to meet data supply life cycle targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and improve service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the processing and validation of data input into the organisation's systems to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Assist triage, investigation and resolution of issues with supported systems.
• Support SDLC, testing and QA activities including test strategies, plans, and test case management.
• Process 'emergency' data changes arising from unforeseen circumstances.
• Assist in testing and validation of enhancements and new features.
• Document and maintain processes and procedures for operations and interface with wider business processes.
