Job summary

Holafly is hiring a Data Engineer to build and scale high-performance data pipelines that turn raw connectivity data into actionable insights. You will develop APIs with FastAPI, transform data with DBT, and optimise warehouse structures for rapid analyses. You will work across engineering and product teams to support global growth.

The role requires expert Python, SQL, and cloud data warehousing experience, with a focus on scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data quality automation.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python development for data pipelines and APIs.
• Strong SQL skills for large datasets and complex transformations.
• Experience with data modelling and cloud data warehousing architectures (GCP/BigQuery).
• Proven track record in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate diverse data sources into a unified, high-availability ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain high-performance APIs using FastAPI to expose data insights to internal services.
• Lead data transformations with DBT to structure the warehouse for analysis.
• Optimise data structures and schemas for fast analytical and operational queries.
• Automate data validation and cleansing to ensure data integrity and security.
• Drive technical innovation by implementing modern frameworks to enhance processing capabilities.
