We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Job Summary:
Provide hands-on, on-site support for data centre operations, including hardware installation, troubleshooting, cabling, media handling, and vendor coordination while assisting remote IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rack, stack, install, replace, and decommission servers, switches, routers, and other IT equipment.
• Perform basic hardware diagnostics, power cycles, LED checks, and component replacements.
• Install, patch, and troubleshoot Ethernet/fiber cabling, patch panels, and network devices.
• Act as on-site support for remote IT teams and report equipment status/errors.
• Handle backup tapes, inventory, and media-related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, facilities, and security teams for installations and maintenance.
• Maintain asset records, cable labeling, diagrams, and service documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of data centre or field support experience.
• Basic knowledge of servers, networking, storage, and cabling.
• Familiarity with remote management tools.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work flexible shifts/on-call.
