Job summary

Centrica plc in Dublin is seeking a Data Centre Shift Operations Technician with a mechanical focus to join our facilities team. You will monitor and optimise critical assets, respond to alarms, and support on-site maintenance activities to ensure uptime and safety.

Working in a fast-paced SLA-driven environment, you will document tasks, handovers, and reports, coordinating with third-party vendors while upholding company policies and safety standards.

• Monitor and optimise mechanical and electrical systems within the data centre to maximise asset availability.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and execute emergency actions per procedures.
• Maintain accurate task records in asset management and monitoring systems.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and third-party vendors to ensure safety and uptime.
• Prepare reports detailing asset performance and availability for stakeholders.
