Job summary

Echelon Data Centres in Ireland is seeking an experienced Data Centre Security Manager to lead daily physical security across a campus, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 controls and runbooks. You will manage the contract guard force and act as the operational liaison between the Head of Security, site operations, and security vendors.

You will drive incident response, audits, access control and CCTV operations, mentor security teams, and deliver continuous improvements across campus security

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in physical security operations
• Demonstrated experience supervising security teams in a multi-building campus
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and related standards and procedures

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily delivery of physical security services across campus buildings and perimeters
• Act as the first operational escalation point for security issues, alarms, and incidents
• Coordinate with operations, facilities, health and safety, and projects to integrate security into maintenance and construction
• Administer campus-level access control and run reviews, badges, approvals, and terminations
• Ensure operation and troubleshooting of access control, alarm, and CCTV systems with vendors and internal teams
• Conduct regular spot checks and audits of critical areas and high-risk access groups
