Job summary

Datalec Precision Installations (DPI) seeks an Authorised Person to lead the Critical Environments team on the Data Centre contract, overseeing operation and maintenance of the facility's infrastructure. You will be responsible for delivering performance aligned with KPI and SLA, coordinating with client representatives, and driving improvements across the contract.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in critical facilities, and qualifications in electrical/ME systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or related M&E field.
5+ years’ experience in critical facilities operations.
MV 7 HV qualification in Critical Switching City & guilds or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems used in data centres.
Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

Develop, mentor and manage the Critical Environments team on the contract.
Maintain client relationships across Data Centres to ensure positive experience.
Deliver performance to meet KPI and SLA in the SOW.
Ensure 24/7 operations coverage as per SOW.
Prepare CE data for reports including MBRs and QBRs.
Lead annual maintenance contracts budgeting and forecasting.
Audit CE team performance and drive improvements.
