Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Technical Services Manager for a large-scale Data Centre project in Groningen, Netherlands. You will lead the delivery of MEP services, oversee subcontractors, monitor safety and programme, and coordinate closely with consultants and suppliers to ensure successful handovers.

The role requires 10+ years of construction experience and 5+ years in a senior MEP/Technical Services management position, with data centre or critical environment exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience.
• 5+ years as a Services Coordinator, MEP Manager or Technical Services Manager.
• Building Services / Engineering qualification or MEP trade qualification.
• Strong experience delivering major MEP packages.
• Data Centre / Life Sciences / Critical Environment experience preferred.
• Proven experience taking projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of MEP services across the project.
• Oversee M&E subcontractors and trade partners.
• Monitor quality, safety, programme and progress.
• Coordinate MEP works with the wider construction team.
• Review technical documentation and design requirements.
• Manage and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee MEP installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage variations and technical issues with the commercial team.
• Attend project and MEP coordination meetings.
• Support and mentor the MEP team.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
