Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering field.
• 2+ years in thermal engineering, electronics cooling, or data center infrastructure.
• P2 requires ~2+ years; P3 requires ~4+ years; advanced education may compensate.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience planning or executing engineering analysis, simulations, or lab testing.
• Ability to analyze data, document conclusions, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate thermal management architectures for data center infrastructure.
• Perform thermal, fluid-flow, and system-level analyses to assess performance.
• Develop and execute lab test plans for thermal and liquid-cooling systems.
• Support sensing, monitoring, and control functions for temperature, pressure, and flow.
• Create proof-of-concept hardware and demonstrations with Analog Devices tech.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, and systems engineers.
• Create simulation models, calculations, and design documentation.
• Support design reviews, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Evaluate literature, standards, and emerging cooling technologies.
• Support customer engagements with analyses and demonstrations.
