Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs within a Data Center operation.

You will be part of the Critical and Technical Services group responsible for technical maintenance in critical client environments. The role involves assisting with daily site inspections, responding to BMS alarms, coordinating with third-party vendors, and completing planned PM as well as reactive maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent technical training with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in basic math and MS Office.
• Good communication and ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on data center equipment.
• Monitor environmental conditions to ensure safe working environment.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and coordinate with vendors.
• Carry out routine inspections of Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
• Record maintenance activities and maintain accurate reports.
