A leading company in data center solutions is seeking a skilled Piping Designer in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves designing integrated piping systems for data center applications, ensuring compliance with industry specifications. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering and over 5 years of experience in piping design, with knowledge of software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD being essential. Formación

• 5+ years in piping design and engineering in construction, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor or oil & gas industries.
• Experience in Data Centres or Critical environments is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed piping designs including 3D models and layouts.
• Perform piping stress analysis to ensure system integrity.
• Specify piping materials and components based on project requirements.
• Ensure designs adhere to industry and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate piping systems.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction.
• Prepare and review piping specifications and technical reports.
• Support during construction and troubleshooting of piping systems.
• Contribute to project cost estimation and ensure budget adherence.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in 3D modelling and piping design software (e.g. Solidworks, Revit, AutoCAD)

Expertise in stress analysis tools

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Educación

HNC / Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering
