Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Quality Assurance Program Manager for construction of data center network pathways. You will partner with engineering, construction managers, and contractors to embed QA throughout the project lifecycle.

You will lead design reviews, establish checklists, and drive training to ensure conformance to Amazon and industry standards during milestone inspections. This role directly impacts data center reliability and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through development, deployment or mass production.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• 4+ years in network pathway infrastructure design or installation in data centers.
• 3+ years of end-to-end program management methodologies and tooling.
• Experience managing quality across the full project lifecycle, from design review through installation validation and defect remediation.
• Proficiency with cable tray construction standards (NEMA VE1/VE2 or IEC 61537).

Responsibilities

• Own QA programs to drive world-class quality in network infrastructure for new data centers.
• Review cable tray designs and define acceptance checklists for each build milestone.
• Collaborate with Construction Management to ensure builds meet design documents and milestones.
• Influence partners to drive high-quality deliverables and establish cross-functional collaboration frameworks.
• Close gaps between approved design and installation by coordinating with onsite and design teams.
• Maintain QA documents, inspection checklists, and installation requirements.
• Monitor installations and capture lessons learned for program improvements.
• Drive QA training programs and materials for construction teams and vendors.
• Define metrics and data-driven improvements for construction performance.
