Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our AIS team in Ireland. You will perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of engineering drawings and documents to ensure regulatory, legal, and security compliance.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Construction teams to build and maintain data centers that support AWS customers. The role involves coordinating documentation, leading process improvements, and occasionally traveling up to 25% to meet project

Qualifications

• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.
• Experience in document control for design engineering and construction.
• Experience using web-based tools for calculation and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering drawings, specifications and documents across projects and coordinate stakeholders.
• Perform quality reviews for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Coordinate design drawings, specs, and permits through project lifecycle.
• Support design managers with complete documentation across design phases and handoff.
• Lead process improvements and drive short- and long-term enhancements in documentation workflows.
• Maintain and manage project archiving, versioning, and access control.
• Prepare reports on project progress and KPIs.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
