Job summary

WEX in Dublin is seeking a Business Solutions Specialist to join Global Risk Operations. This early-career role focuses on data, analytics, and automation, using SQL, Python, Tableau and Power BI to modernise processes and reporting.

You will work with senior analysts to identify bottlenecks, develop automated, self-service solutions and ensure data accuracy, governance and compliance across reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent.
• Experience in Finance, Risk Operations, Data Analytics or BI environment.
• Basic SQL knowledge and relational databases.
• Foundational Python knowledge (Pandas/NumPy) or similar scripting experience.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify manual processes and develop automated, self-service solutions.
• Transform raw data into structured datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting using Tableau and Power BI.
• Query and analyze data with SQL; validate data quality.
• Use Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Produce operational reporting, KPIs, and management dashboards.
• Identify trends, discrepancies and operational risks.
• Support automation of risk workflows and AI opportunities.
