Job summary

Security Risk Advisors Intl. invites motivated co-ops to join its CyberSOC Practice, participating in 24x7 operations across a range of client environments. The role emphasizes hands-on incident monitoring, investigation, and response using SIEM/EDR/SOAR tools.

You’ll gain exposure to threat intelligence, framework reasoning, and cross-team collaboration. This full-time temporary co-op offers in-office work across Kilkenny, with shifts to cover early mornings, days, or nights.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for technology and punctuality.
• Experience or coursework in incident investigation and forensics, information security, and networking.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and triage security alerts across endpoints, networks, identity, and cloud telemetry.
• Investigate alerts to determine severity, scope, and whether activity is benign, suspicious, or malicious.
• Perform initial incident response support including evidence collection and timeline development.
• Use SIEM, EDR, NDR/NSM, and SOAR platforms to detect, investigate, and respond to threats.
• Leverage MITRE ATT&CK to enrich investigations and communicate attacker behavior clearly.
• Document work in case management systems with steps, evidence, decisions, and next actions.
• Communicate status and findings to leadership and clients professionally.
