Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is exclusively retained to build a brand new Cyber Security team in Dublin, Ireland. We’re recruiting a Cyber Threat Operations Engineer (SOC Analyst) to monitor, triage and respond to cyber threats using SIEM and EDR platforms within a 24/7 operations centre, though this role follows standard working hours.

Ideal applicants have 3–6 years in SOC/SEC operations, hands-on SIEM/EDR experience, and knowledge of Windows/Linux networks.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in SOC/Security Operations roles
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms
• Knowledge of networking, Windows and Linux, and common attack techniques

• Monitor and triage security alerts in a SOC environment
• Investigate suspicious activity and incidents
