Job summary

Northern Trust Corp. is seeking a Threat & Vulnerability Analyst to identify and assess cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and exposures across infrastructure, cloud, endpoints, and applications.

You will partner with SOC, Threat Intelligence, and Risk teams to prioritize remediation and reduce organizational risk. Key activities include analyzing CVEs, threats, and industry trends while supporting CTEM programs and remediation reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and exposures affecting the business, technology platforms, and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Infrastructure, Cloud Security, Application Security, and Risk teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on risk.
• transform vulnerability data into actionable recommendations to reduce cyber risk.
• Monitor and assess emerging cyber threats and industry trends relevant to financial services.

Education
