Job summary

WeDo Tech are recruiting a Cyber Security Engineer to join a fast-moving organisation in County Cavan on a hybrid basis. You will own security initiatives, identify gaps and drive improvements across infrastructure, networks and cloud.

This hands-on role requires proven security engineering experience and the ability to partner with technical and business teams. You will shape security architecture and threat modelling while maintaining practical balance with business needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cyber security or security engineering experience.
• Proven track record of identifying security gaps and implementing solutions.
• Experience delivering security improvement or architecture projects.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking and cloud security.
• Experience across security monitoring, endpoint security and vulnerability management.
• Good understanding of security frameworks and best practice.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Practical approach balancing security with business needs.
• An understanding of AI Governance and security measures would be beneficial.

WeDo Tech are recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing cyber security team within a large, fast-moving organisation.

This role suits someone with strong hands-on security experience who wants to move further into senior engineering and architecture. You'll have real ownership, identifying security gaps, shaping improvements and working with teams across the business to deliver them.
