Job summary

Spait Infotech in Ireland is seeking a junior cybersecurity/IT security assistant to monitor security alerts, review logs, and support incident response. The role involves monitoring networks, endpoints, and systems, performing vulnerability checks, and maintaining security documentation.

The ideal candidate has basic cybersecurity knowledge, understands networking concepts, and is eager to learn. Freshers or those with 0–3 years of experience are welcome to apply, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Cyber Security, Information Security, or IT.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
• Basic knowledge of security monitoring and incident management.
• Familiarity with SIEM or other security tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux.
