Job summary

Vantage Resources in Ireland is seeking an experienced security professional to join its SOC. You will lead incident triage, investigation and digital forensics, coordinating response across Cyber, IT and external providers to minimise impact.

You will also drive improvements to SOC use cases, incident response playbooks and automation, leveraging SIEM, EDR, SOAR and Threat Intelligence while applying offensive techniques to validate defenses and test controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in SOC, Incident Response or Offensive Security.
• Hands-on incident investigation, digital forensics, triage and response.
• Experience with SIEM, Threat Intelligence, SOAR and EDR technologies.
• Practical knowledge of offensive tools and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
• Relevant certifications in security disciplines.

What’s needed

• 4+ years in SOC, Incident Response or Offensive Security.
• Strong hands-on experience in incident investigation, digital forensics, triage and response.
• Experience with SIEM, Threat Intelligence, SOAR and EDR technologies such as CrowdStrike, ZeroFox and Splunk.
• Practical knowledge of offensive security tools including Burp Suite, Nmap and Metasploit.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Relevant certification such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, CEH or similar.
