Job summary

Marsh Ireland is seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to join our Cyber team. The role focuses on creating new cyber/tech and FINPRO opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth across Ireland with a hybrid work setup (3 days in office, 2 remote).

You will benefit from intensive cyber training and broad Marsh support. Ideal candidates have CIP qualification, insurance experience, and a growth mindset to become a trusted cyber advisor.

Qualifications

• CIP qualification is essential for the role.
• 3–5 years minimum general insurance experience.
• Full driving licence and access to own car.
• Eagerness to learn and enhance knowledge and technical skills.
• Self-motivated and energised.
• Ability to communicate at all levels with clients and colleagues.
• Team player and cross-stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategy and development plan aligned to Marsh’s value proposition.
• Identify and develop relationships with prospects and client contacts.
• Attend industry events and create marketing materials and insights for distribution.
• Draft and deliver new business presentations and support expanded opportunities.
• Identify whitespace opportunities and new cover solutions.
• Review client risk assessments and identify potential advisory/consulting opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-selling opportunities across Marsh business units.
• Monitor sales performance and report on metrics.
• Travel to meetings with colleagues, clients and prospects.
