Job summary

Sabeo is seeking a Cyber Security – Architecture and Assurance Lead for an initial 6-month contract in North Dublin with hybrid work (3 days onsite). The role provides independent challenge and assurance across the programme lifecycle, identifying risks, dependencies, and recovery constraints while ensuring solutions follow best practices and meet recovery objectives.

Qualifications

Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or Cyber Recovery.
Experience designing and governing Cyber Recovery, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Resilience programmes.
Experience in Critical Infrastructure sectors or NIS2-regulated environments (desirable).
Experience leading Design Authority, Architecture Governance, and Technical Assurance.
Proven experience managing architecture across multi-supplier technology programmes.
Strong understanding of recovery architectures and resilience frameworks.
Strong understanding of Identity, Access Management, and recovery authentication models.
Experience with VMware vSphere, enterprise infrastructure, storage, and virtualization.
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle RAC, and enterprise database recovery.
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container platform recovery.
Experience with immutable backup platforms, cyber recovery vaults, air-gapped solutions.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid cloud services, and recovery models.
Strong risk assessment, dependency analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience supporting recovery testing, cyber exercises, validation activities, and readiness assessments.
Strong stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.
Industry certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, Azure Architect, VMware, etc.

Responsibilities

Become the technical architecture lead for the Cyber Recovery Technology Programme.
Develop, maintain, and govern the Target Cyber Recovery Architecture.
Define architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for cyber recovery.
Ensure all workstreams, technologies, and suppliers integrate into a cohesive recovery capability.
Review and assure technical designs produced by internal teams and third parties.
Challenge architectural decisions and supplier proposals.
Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and single points of failure.
Validate recovery strategies, operating models, and roadmaps.
Support procurement activities, technology evaluations, and supplier selection.
Participate in Design Authority and technical governance forums.
Review recovery runbooks, methodologies, and testing approaches.
Support cyber recovery testing, simulations, and readiness reviews.
Produce architecture assurance reports and dependency assessments.
Ensure solutions meet Recovery Time Objectives and Recovery Point Objectives.
Review industry trends to maintain best-in-class recovery capability.
