Job summary

Vantage Resources in Ireland is seeking an experienced security professional to join its SOC. You will lead incident triage, investigation and digital forensics, coordinating response across Cyber, IT and external providers to minimise impact.

You will also drive improvements to SOC use cases, incident response playbooks and automation, leveraging SIEM, EDR, SOAR and Threat Intelligence while applying offensive techniques to validate defenses and test controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in SOC, Incident Response or Offensive Security.
• Hands-on incident investigation, digital forensics, triage and response.
• Experience with SIEM, Threat Intelligence, SOAR and EDR technologies.
• Practical knowledge of offensive tools and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
• Relevant certifications in security disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform cyber incident triage, investigation, forensics and response with the SOC.
• Act as escalation point, coordinating incident response across Cyber, IT and providers.
• Improve SOC use cases, playbooks and operational processes.
• Support monitoring and response using SIEM, EDR, SOAR and automation.
• Identify and validate security weaknesses using offensive techniques.
• Test cyber controls by simulating threat actor techniques.
• Support cyber simulations and tabletop exercises for continuous improvement.
