Job summary

HSS Hire in Galway is seeking a Customer Sales Advisor to deliver excellent service, build relationships with customers, and identify hire solutions that fit their needs. This role blends customer service with sales at a busy branch.

You will work with a supportive team, participate in stock checks, process transactions, and uphold safety and quality standards while helping customers move their projects forward.

The Role

As a Customer Sales Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch operation, delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting branch sales and performance.

You'll build strong customer relationships, provide expert advice, identify sales opportunities, and ensure customers receive the right equipment and solutions for their needs.

This role combines customer service, sales, product knowledge, and branch operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and rewarding role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering excellent customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
• Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Identifying customer needs and recommending the most suitable products and hire solutions.
• Supporting branch sales growth and contributing towards team targets.
• Processing hire and sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining strong product knowledge to provide expert advice and recommendations.
• Supporting stock management and ensuring equipment availability.
• Carrying out equipment inspections and safety checks before and after hire.
• Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient, and professional branch environment.

What We're Looking For

Experience within equipment hire, construction, builders' merchanting, or the trade sector would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
