Job summary

HSS Hire, part of Chadwicks Group, is seeking a passionate Hire Sales Consultant for our Galway branch. You’ll work with customers across construction, trade, industrial, and domestic sectors to identify equipment needs and grow branch sales.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• A passion for building relationships and helping customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience within the tool hire, construction, merchanting, or trade sector would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure every customer has a positive experience.
• Build strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Identify sales opportunities and contribute towards branch sales targets.
• Provide advice and recommendations on tools, equipment, and hire solutions.
• Process hire and sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and support the overall running of the branch.
• Carry out inspections and basic testing of tools and equipment before and after hire, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

The Role

As a Hire Sales Consultant, you'll be at the heart of our branch operation. You'll work closely with customers, identify their equipment needs, provide expert advice, and help grow branch sales.
