Job summary

Lidl Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant on a standard 30 hour contract. You will help customers, stock shelves, handle tills, and keep the store clean and well-presented. The role requires reliability, good teamwork, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.

Salary starts at €15.40 per hour with progression to €17.90 after three years. 20 days of holidays pro rata, a company pension, and ongoing development opportunities are included for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred but not essential if you have the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Follow stock loss controls in all store areas.
• Maintain store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Follow freshness and rotation principles.
• Ensure waste is managed correctly.
• Assist in the stock count process.
