Job summary

Lidl Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant to join our Cork teams. On a standard 30 hour contract you’ll earn €15.40 per hour rising to €17.90 after 3 years, with unsocial hours paid, and a clear career development path including our Leadership Academy.

You’ll greet customers, stock shelves, help on tills and keep the store clean and well presented. You must be 18 or over to work in store and be a team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment and varied shifts from early mornings to late

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work across different shift times.
• Must be 18 or over to work in store.
• Previous customer-facing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Assist in stock counting and stock availability.
• Maintain store cleanliness and shop presentation.
• Follow stock rotation and waste-management procedures.
• Assist on tills and reduce queue times.
