Job summary

Lidl Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant to support customers across our store. On a standard 30 hour contract, you will help on the shop floor, serve at tills, and assist with stock and checkout, with shifts across morning, middle and late times.

You must be 18+ to work in store as alcohol is sold. The role offers a transparent pay system with hourly rates starting at €15.40 and rising to €17.90 after 3 years, plus unsocial hours and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and ability to handle queries calmly
• Willingness to go the extra mile for customers
• Reliable and punctual in a fast-paced retail environment
• Able to work in a varied shift pattern across mornings, middles and evenings
• Good team player with a can-do attitude
• Previous customer-facing experience is a plus but not essential if attitude is right

• Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Follow freshness and rotation principles for products
