Job summary

Jones Engineering seeks a Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) - Construction Quality Lead. The role combines site and office work across Europe, including our Bagenalstown site, with a base in Co. Carlow.

You will establish and maintain the CSA Quality Management System and drive a Right First Time culture. You will lead the CSA quality delivery, develop QA processes, and coordinate with the Quality Campus Lead and Contracts Manager to ensure smooth handover and compliance across

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical, mechanical, building services, construction management or quality qualification.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the CSA Quality Management System on civil, structural and architectural projects.
• Own CSA quality delivery of projects and ensure client specifications are met.
• Lead quality ethos via training, QA initiatives and 'Right First Time' methods.
• Lead the Quality team including Site Project Quality Engineers.
• Collaborate with Group Quality Leads and other staff across the business.
• Oversee project lifecycle from Initiation to handover and documentation.
• Manage project QA records and handover documentation to clients.
• Coordinate system/test pack development using QA software per project.
• Interface with the Campus Lead and Contracts Manager on handover dates.
• Coordinate with construction teams on snagging and handover scheduling.
• Review installations against project standards and QA plans.
• Oversee 3rd party inspections and subcontractor QA compliance.
• Attend and report quality metrics at management meetings.
