Realtime Recruitment Limited is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Manager – Critical Supplier & Outsourcing. You will oversee the critical supplier and outsourcing framework to ensure risk management and regulatory compliance across the function.

The role focuses on governance, due diligence and supplier risk within a large, regulated environment, collaborating with risk, operations and technology leaders to strengthen the Third-Party Risk

Qualifications

Job description

We are partnering with a leading regulated financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Manager – Critical Supplier & Outsourcing.

This is a high-visibility role within a mature Third-Party Risk Management environment, sitting above the Vendor Management function and providing strategic oversight of critical suppliers and outsourcing arrangements.

The Role

You will play a key role in overseeing the organisation’s critical supplier and outsourcing framework, ensuring appropriate risk management, due diligence, governance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the risk management and governance of approximately 40 critical suppliers, including around 20 outsourced arrangements.
• Lead and challenge third-party risk assessments and due diligence.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with DORA, CBI Outsourcing Guidance and Operational Resilience requirements.
• Identify gaps within the existing framework and drive remediation and continuous improvement.
• Provide oversight and challenge to Vendor Managers rather than directly managing supplier relationships.
• Support governance, regulatory and audit activity relating to third-party risk and outsourcing.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Operations, Technology and other group functions.
• Contribute to the continued development of the organisation's Third-Party Risk Management framework.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Third-Party Risk Management / Outsourcing.
• Good working knowledge of DORA and CBI regulatory requirements.
• Experience with operational resilience, supplier risk and due diligence.
• Experience operating within a large, complex or regulated organisation.
• Ideally, experience working across intra-group/global functions.
• The confidence to provide challenge and oversight at a senior level.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
