Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is recruiting a Credit Controller for a manufacturing company based in Co. Cavan. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, monitor invoices, allocate payments and reconcile balances to minimise overdue debt.

The role requires 2+ years in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable, proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills to resolve queries and support month-end processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong account reconciliation and payment collection skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills when dealing with customer queries.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
• Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Resolve payment queries and assist with customer credit checks.
• Prepare collection reports and support month-end finance processes.
