Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is recruiting a Credit Controller for a manufacturing company based in Co. Cavan. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, monitor invoices, and drive timely collections to reduce overdue debt.

Working closely with customers and the finance team, you will allocate payments, reconcile accounts, generate collection reports, and support month-end processes. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong reconciliation and payment collection skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities when dealing with customer queries.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and keep records up to date.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
• Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Resolve payment queries and assist with credit checks.
• Prepare collection reports and support month-end processes.
