Job summary

&Open in Dublin is seeking a curious and creative Junior Designer to join our Creative team in a permanent, entry-level role. You’ll support design tasks across client briefs, merchandise collections, presentations, production artwork, and Shopify content, working with senior designers to develop ideas from brief to polished work.

You’ll contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment, build fundamentals in design, typography, and branding, and be open to feedback while developing

Qualifications

• A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and potential.
• A design qualification or equivalent portfolio experience.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
• Understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, and brand consistency.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Clear communication and a collaborative attitude.
• Interest in branding, merchandise, packaging, gifting, or product design.
• Experience with Figma or presentation tools is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Creative team across client and internal projects.
• Create and update presentations, mood boards, mock-ups, and visuals.
• Assist with development of gifting concepts and merchandise.
• Adapt designs for different clients, formats, and channels.
• Prepare files for print, digital, packaging, and product applications.
• Collaborate with designers, production, content and marketing teams.
