Job summary

&Open, a global gifting platform, is hiring a Junior Designer to join our Creative team in Dublin. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across client briefs, merchandise, presentations, production artwork, and Shopify content, with mentorship from senior designers.

You'll contribute to design fundamentals, learn practical workflows, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A strong portfolio and willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A portfolio demonstrates strong design fundamentals and creative potential.
• A qualification in design or related discipline, or equivalent portfolio experience.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition and brand consistency.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational/time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Creative team across client and internal projects.
• Create and update presentations, mood boards, mock-ups, and other visuals.
• Assist with development of gifting concepts and merchandise collections.
• Adapt existing designs for different clients, formats and channels.
• Prepare design work for internal reviews and client presentations.
• Implement feedback to refine designs.
• Collaborate with designers, creatives, B&M, production, content and marketing teams.
• Take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
