Job summary

Avoca Kilmacanogue is seeking experienced Counter Assistants to join our part-time team (30 hours per week) at Avoca Kilmacanogue. Immediate start available; flexibility required. The role includes customer service, barista duties, cash handling, stock replenishment and store maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Customer service – assist customers in person and via phone.
• Barista – make coffees and serve fresh food.
• Till use – scan items and process payments, manage queues.
• Replenishing stock and maintaining Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as directed by line manager.
• Ensure the store is clean and aligns with Avoca branding.
• Ad-hoc duties as required by management.

We are recruiting for experienced Counter Assistants to work on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours per week) in our location at Avoca Kilmacanogue. This position is for an immediate start and the candidate must be flexible.

Please note that Avoca does not provide visa, employment permit or work permit sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application.

Duties include

• Customer Service – A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Barista – making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
• Till use – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the retail department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standard
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager
